20 JAN - A Big THANK YOU from Cotts FC - A big thank you from Cotts FC and Tom Houghton.

A few weeks ago Cotts FC posted an appeal on WhatsApp for a Go Fund me page raising money for one of their players and his family. The player, Tom Houghton had tragically lost his baby son Louie on Christmas Eve and friends of the family were trying to raise them a little bit of money to try and help wherever it might be needed.

The response we got was amazing, as a result the appeal had donations of over £700 from other clubs in all divisions in the league.  Cotts would like to thank everyone who donated on behalf of Tom and his family, your help has been fantastic and will not be forgotten. A special thanks must go to Handsworth Inn Pub who donated nearly £400. 

Tom sent me a message whilst the donations from clubs were being added saying he was blown away and to tell me that his mother in law had been quite strong up until that point but seeing the donations and love from other football teams really got to her and had her in floods of tears !!!

The total fund stands at £7060.00. So once again thank you to our Blades Super Draw football family for your generosity and your kind words all of which made it to Tom. Thanks everyone, Matt – Manager Cotts FC
