29 NOV – SUNDAY JUNIOR CUP – Round 4 draw sees just one all-Blades Super Draw tie – The draw for Round 4 of the Sunday Junior Cup has produced just one all-Blades Super Draw League tie, with Division Two Renegade entertaining Division One leaders FC Inter. It might not be the game the league tables would suggest as Renegade beat a Worksop Premier side 8-0 in the previous round, so Inter might need to be at their best. Elsewhere, Brinsworth Phoenix travel to Mexborough Division 1 side Swinton WMC and Sheffield South are also away at Barnsley Division 1 side West Bretton. Cotts are also away at Doncaster Division 1 side Balby and Sheffield Sixs look to have an even tougher task at Doncaster Premier side AFC Royal who narrowly beat Jubilee Rangers in Round 3. Colley are also away at Imperial Premier Aston Lodge and Boynton Sports also meet an Imperial side in the Championship leaders Birley, although Boynton have home advantage. The other of our teams with home advantage is Brinsworth Whitehill and they entertain a Ravenfield Cavaliers that put Beight Magpies out in Round 3.

29 NOV – SUNDAY SENIOR CUP – Round 4 draw keeps all our 6 clubs apart – All six of our clubs have stayed apart in the draw for Round 4 of the Sunday Senior Cup. Only Stannington Village has been given a home tie, but it will be one of the ties of the round against Rotherham Premier leaders AFP. Oughtibridge WM also face a Rotherham Premier side when they travel to The Pewter Pot, as do Crookes FC at FC Manor Barn. Wadsley Bridge Pheasant travel to Barnsley Premier’s Athersley Recreation. Royal Earl travel to Mexborough Premier’ Queens United and Handsworth Everest Inn travel to Doncaster Rovers Premier leaders Scawthorpe Athletic. The full Round 4 draw is: The Pewter Pot v Oughtibridge WM; Athersley Recreation v WB Pheasant; FC Manor Barn v Crookes FC; Queens United v Royal Earl; Stannington Village v AFP; Scawthorpe Athletic v Handsworth Everest Inn; Rakkam v AFC Mallard; Dog Daisy United v AFC Three Feathers. All ties are scheduled for 12 December.

28 NOV – All Fixtures Postponed All fixtures postponed due to snow and ice

25 NOV – Fixtures & Referees for 5 December – Fixtures and Referees for 5 December are now shown in the Fixtures section of the website. There are two games without referees yet and it could be that I can't get any more as 7 referees have already told me that they are unavailable that day. Will all the home teams ensure that they confirm the details with both their opponents and referees where shown ASAP.

We cannot put the fixtures and referees for 12 December on the website yet as the County FA has not yet completed the draws for the Sunday Senior and Sunday Junior Cups due to be played that day. I will get them on as soon as the draws are known and I have been able to complete which league games can then be played and which referees I have available. We will also then add the fixtures for 19 December, although many teams have chosen to not play that date. If anyone hasn't yet told me they don't want a game on 19 December, they need to do so before Monday 29 November.

All home teams MUST make sure that their home pitch is available on all the dates shown. Please email Keith immediately if your pitch is not available on a date shown. All home clubs MUST also confirm the details with your referees and opponents for all dates shown as soon as they are shown. If you are having to kick-off at a time other than 11 am, you MUST make sure that both your referee, opponents and Keith are aware. The home clubs should later (the Tuesday before the game) ring the referee to make sure the referee has got all the details. If a referee says he cannot do a game listed for them, please notify Keith immediately.

Matches without referees must still go ahead and, if you have not been allocated a referee by the date of the game, the two clubs must agree on a stand-in 'referee' between them.  Although Keith will still be working to gain more referees, because we have a lower number of referees than in recent season, it is very likely that some games may not have an official referee allocated to them. If you find one yourself, will you let Keith know immediately please.

Any team that have opponents shown as "No game yet" should NOT assume that they will have no game on that date as we have often had to change fixtures at short notice as we try to get as many games played as possible.

22 NOV – LEAGUE TWENTYTWO CUP – League Twentytwo Cup Quarter Final Draw – The draw for the League Twentytwo Cup Quarter Final was made at Bramall Lane by the Sheffield Star’s James Shield pictured on the right) and The Athletic’s Richard Sutcliffe (pictured left). It will see holders Royal Earl entertain former holders Civil Sports and current CBC Premier leaders Joker Wickersley Youth travel to another former holder, Wadsley Bridge Pheasant, if they win their delayed tie with Division One New Bohemians. The only Division Two side remaining, Brinsworth Whitehill travel to CBC Premier title challengers Norton Sportsman and the only Division One side definitely in the Quarter Finals is Shaffield Sixs and they have a home tie against CBC Premier and former holders Handsworth Everest Inn. The full Quarter Final draw is: Norton Sportsman v Brinsworth Whitehill; Royal Earl v Civil Sports; Sheffield Sixers v Handsworth Everest Inn; WB Pheasant or New Bohemians v Joker Wickersley Youth.

It’s hoped to play the delayed Wadsley Bridge Pheasant v New Bohemians tie on 5 Dec, with the Quarter Final ties to be arranged for dates in January.

22 NOV – Shakey FC resign It is with regret that the League has accepted the resignation of Shakey FC. We thank their management for giving people an opportunity to play football and their efforts to try to keep the club going. All their games this season will be removed from the records.

21 NOV – League statement – It was brought to the League’s attention that Crookes FC had played a substitute in their League Cup tie win over Civil Sports that wasn’t included on the team sheet. The player was correctly registered with the League, so it was purely just a simple oversight in leaving his name off their team sheet. Unfortunately, a player not included on the team sheet is deemed to be ineligible and League Rule 13 states that if a player in a League Cup tie is ineligible in any way, his team is expelled from the competition for that season. Therefore, even though the League believes Crookes just made an honest error and did not deliberately do this to gain any advantage, the League has no option other than to expel them from this season’s League Cup. Civil Sports will take their place in the next round.

21 NOV – SUNDAY JUNIOR CUP – Whitehill Finnish off The Crown and Jacobs goes crackers for Renegade – Nine of our teams progressed to the last 32 of the Sunday Junior Cup with Brinsworth Whitehill leading the way as Ainsley Finney (pictured right) hit 5 in an 11-0 thrashing of Askern’s The Crown. Brinsworth might showed why they are considered one of the favourites for the competition and their other scorers were Drew Houghton, Cory Goodwin, Brad Carroll, Joe McGuinness, Matt Claxton and Lewis Szanto.

Matt Jacobs (pictured left) scored four in an even more impressive Renegade victory over a Breakers FC yet to drop a point in Worksop’s top division. It was a remarkable result for the team currently sitting bottom of our league, but they were dominant from start to finish, living in the Breakers half all game and Breakers failing to have a single shot. Some easy misses and hitting the woodwork four times might easily have seen Renegade double their score, but they settled for other goals from Jamie Lindsay 2, Callum Jeandin and Mikey Thomas.

Cotts won a thriller 4-3 against a The Garrison yet to drop a point in Barnsley’s Division One. Chris Salt gave Cotts a two goal lead, but the visitors had levelled before half time and took the lead soon after the break. Cotts levelled through Michael Blythen and in the last few seconds won it with a Cal Shaw header.

Also beating a Barnsley Division One side was Boynton Sports who put out Darfield Cross Keys 3-0. All the goals came in the first half. Ethan Wilkinson had an early effort chalked off by the referee, but a second effort gave Boynton the lead. Roan Heeley’s perfect cross allowed Lee Jordan to double the lead and with man of the match Kurtis Cockburn controlling midfield a third soon came when Isaac Reardon’s cross allowed Jordan to score his second.

Sheffield South had to come from two down to beat Chesterfield Division 6 leaders Brampton Rovers 6-3. A double from Said Benaissa (pictured right) and one each for Harry Pollard and Josh Ing saw South leading 4-3 at the break and they clinched their place in the last 32 with further goals from a Tom Davis penalty and an Alex Masterson strike. Colley are also in the last 32 without kicking a ball !! After receiving a bye in Round 1, their opponents in Round 2 conceded and it happened again in Round 3 when their Swallownest opponents also conceded.

Three all-Blades Super Draw ties saw Brinsworth Phoenix gain revenge for their League Cup defeat by New Bohemians with a 3-1 victory over them. Bohemiansot off to a great start when Jono Cooper played a ball over the top and Tom Beck pulled it across for Lewis Currie to guide it into the bottom corner. Sam Brown missed a great chance to double the lead and it allowed Phoenix to level before half time when John Mellor showed a touch of class when he saw the keeper off his line and chipped it over him. The second half was close with Tom and Matt Beck missing chances for Bohemians, but with Phoenix looking more dangerous, good work from Dane Hodgson and Jack Hawkes set up utility man Jake Slaughter to give them the lead. Phoenix wrapped up the win when their goal machine Jack Hawkes (pictured left) latched on to a Regan Howarth pass to score their third.

Division One leaders FC Inter saw off Division Two Chapeltown RBL 3-1, but it was RBL that struck first when Adam Todd crossed for Dave Millen to head home. RBL almost doubled their lead when the Inter keeper parried a shot which saw Morgan Cowell put the rebound narrowly over the bar. Inter had a slice of luck to level when a cross took a deflection off a defender past his own keeper and they took the lead soon after when the Chris Lees rifled in to the top corner from 30 yards. RBL pressed for an equaliser in the second half and saw several shots blocked in the area and made a strong claim for a hand ball in the area, but as they pushed men forward an error at the back gave Sam Read an open goal to clinch it.

Sheffield Sixs pipped fellow Division One side Wadsley Jack Athletic on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Matt White gave Wadsley an early lead, but it was soon cancelled out by Harry Buxton when he rounded the keeper before scoring. The second half saw George Utley win a penalty for Sixs and Liam Davies slotted home, but Wadsley took the game to extra time with a Ross Lamkin strike. With no further goals in extra time it went to penalties and it went Sixs way 5-4.

Just three of our teams went out to non-Blades Super Draw teams. Despite a Liam Milne goal giving Beighton Magpies a second half lead, they collapsed near the end and lost 4-1 at home to Rotherham Division One leaders Ravenfield Cavaliers. The other two lost to teams that should really have been in the Senior Sunday Cup. Jubilee Rangers produced a terrific performance before going out 2-1 to an AFC Royal currently top of the Doncaster Premier. Jubilee shocked their hosts when Jack Shaw gave them the lead and it wasn’t until the second half when the hosts levelled and they cruelly won it with a last gasp penalty. Mosborough Reds were outclassed 7-0 at a Birdwell Rovers unbeaten in the Barnsley Premier.

21 NOV – CBC PREMIER – Sportsman’s unbeaten run taken by Crookes as Joker go top – In the League, the CBC Premier’s last unbeaten record was brought to an end when Norton Sportsman lost 4-2 at Crookes. Crooks started the better of the two and only a Josh Gibson goal line clearance after Joel Purkiss had rounded keeper Joe Taylor stopped them going in front. Against the run of play James Archer’s in-swinging corner beat everyone to put Sportsman ahead, but it wasn’t long before Andrew Fox equalised. Sportsman went back in front when Will Warhurst headed his first goal after 3 years out with multiple knee operations. A sin-bin saw Sportsman reduced to ten men for ten minutes and Crooks took full advantage to level through Jacob Mattock, before quickly going in front through Pete Smith (pictured right). Sportsman tried to get back into it, but Joel Purkiss killed them off with Crooks’ fourth.

That result allowed Joker Wickersley Youth to go top after Kallum Nix (pictured left) scored one and made one in their narrow 3-2 win over title rivals Stannington Village. Stannington took the lead when Harrison Case crossed for Jack Haslam to power home a header. Parirs Dixon almost levelled for Joker when he saw his thundering shot rebound off the bar, but Nix had more luck when his free-kick beat the wall before going in off the bar to send the teams in level at the break. Just 5 minutes into the second half Dixon got his goal after Ben Thornton had flicked the ball into his path, but Stannington hit back when Bill Green headed across the box for Haslam to tap in his second. The winner that sent Joker top came when Nix’s accurate cross was headed home by Nathan Taylor. The defeat was hard on Stannington after they and referee Tony Tierney (pictured right) had both played their part in a terrific game.

Alex Rippon (pictured left) made it consecutive hat-tricks as Royal Earl went third with a 5-1 victory at Norton Oaks. Rippon scored the opener with a nice finish before doubling his tally after getting in front of his marker to score head home from a great delivery from Connor Chapell. Matt Morton made it three before the break, but Norton then scored the goal of the game when Jordan Noble played the ball inside from the left to Henry Litherland and he took one touch, saw the keeper off his line and sent a screamer into the top corner from 35 yards. Rippon completed his second hat-trick in as many weeks before Matt Morton got his second to wrap up the scoring.

21 NOV – DIVISION 1 – Southey and Intake share the spoils – The only Division One game played saw Southey Social come from two down to claim a 2-2 draw with close rivals Intake Old Boys. Dan White and Patrick O’Brien goals gave Intake a two goal lead at the break, but a Jordan Livett free kick and a Kieran Hopkinson penalty rescued a point for Southey.

21 NOV – DIVISION 2 – Water Tower too much for Sheaf – The only Division Two game saw a single Blaine Pashley strike give Water Tower a 1-0 home win over Sheaf House.

14 NOV – SUNDAY SENIOR CUP – A Ruddy good show as all six go through – On a day when all six Blades Super Draw clubs went through to the last 16, George Rudd (pictured right) led the way as he netted four times in Wadsley Bridge Pheasant’s 10-3 win at Doncaster’s Woodfield Squash Green. A penalty by Woodfield in first few minutes saw Pheasant go behind, but three quick fire goals by Rudd, Danny Reet, Danny Callow put Pheasant in control, Woodfield pulled one back, but Rudd, Harry Holland and Reet put Pheasant in complete control by half time. After break John Travis, Andy Dawson and two more from Rudd made Woodfield’s third just a consolation.

Alex Rippon (pictured left) hit a hat-trick as Royal Earl thrashed Rotherham’s Butchers Arms 9-1. As the score suggests, it was a very one-sided game as a Matt Morton double, Michael Towey, Joe Pearson, Jake Baldwin and Joshua Foster netted Earl’s others

Sam Marsden also hit three as Handsworth Everest Inn eased past the Imperial’s Terminus Tavern 5-3. Terminus missed a great chance to take the lead when they hit the post with a penalty and they paid dearly for it as Marsden’s three together with one for Liam Greenfield and a Ryan Goodinson penalty gave Everest a five goal lead. Terminus didn’t give up though and pulled three back as Everest took their foot off the pedal and it would have been closer had Terminus not missed a second penalty

After Paul Clements early opener had been cancelled out before half-time, second half goals by Joel Purkiss and Max Rhodes gave Crookes breathing space at the Imperial League’s Bradfield Parish. They needed it as well as the home side scored a second, but Crookes held on to win 3-2.

Stannington Village travelled to Rotherham’s Brinsworth DC and knew they would have to be at their best against a side that had ended Joker Wickersley’s three year run as holders.  Keeper Ethan Mockford made a great one on one save midway through the first half to keep the game goalless and it allowed Stannington to take the lead after an hour with a Charlie Hobson penalty after a goal bound header from Jack Haslam was handled on the line. Brinsworth equalised when their two lively forwards combined, but Stannington won it with only two minutes to goas  Jack Haslam (pictured right) bent a 25 yarder in the top corner giving Brinsworth’s impressive goalkeeper no chance.

Oughtibridge WM completed the six with a 3-1 at Doncaster’s Groves Social. They took the lead when a crossfield ball came to Adam Thomas at the back post who found the bottom corner. Groves equalised just before half time when a keeper error misjudged the ball, but Oughtibridge went back in front just after the interval when Ollie Black released Jordan Holland who neatly finished into the bottom corner. Oughtibridge created many more chances and Matt Cowen (pictured left) finally scored the visitors third to take the game away from Groves.

14 NOV – CBC PREMIER – Hardwick lifts Joker and Sam’s the man for Dronfield – Alex Hardwick netted twice as Joker Wickersley Youth climbed to within a point of the leaders with a 3-1 away win at Civil Sports. Hardwick gave Joker the lead when he received the ball on the edge of the area before curling it in off the bar. A last ditch tackle stopped Hardwick adding a second, before a great Jamie Bailey save stopped Civil from equalising. Civil did equalise in the second half when the ball dropped to Bart Grzywa just inside the box and he finished to the keepers right. It wasn’t long before Joker regained the lead when Will Hunter found himself in space on the right and he crossed for Josh Kirkland who flicked it round his man before volleying into the too corner. Bailey pulled off and unbelievable save low down to his right to keep Joker ahead and it was Joker that sealed the victory when Joe Austin cut the ball back for Hardwick to score his second from the edge of the box.

Sam Porter netted twice as AFC Dronfield moved out of the bottom three with a 4-0 home win over Norton Oaks. He gave Dronfield a first half lead and his second, along with two more from Josh Sell and Joe Taylor completed Dronfield’s first home win of the season.

14 NOV – DIVISION 1 – Peacock makes Boynton Proud, but Inter stay top – Marc Peacock hit a hat-trick as Boynton Sports came from two down to narrowly beat Southey Social 4-3 in a real thriller. Elliot Fox and Todd Guest goals gave Southey a two goal lead, but Peacock netted his first to reduce the deficit before half time. Peacock netted his second after the break to level the scores, but a second by Guest put Southey back in front. Peacock completed his hat-trick to level the scores a second time, before Curtis Priday hit the winner in a game both sides described as an excellent game of football. Boynton stay fourth though after the top three all also won.

FC Inter remain top after keeping their perfect record as first half Sam Read and Lewis Whitaker (pictured right) goals gave them a 2-0 victory at Brinsworth Phoenix and second is Sheffield South after two Harry Pollard goals helped them to a big 7-1 win over Cotts. Brad Smith, Louis Marven, a Will Midgley penalty, Said Benassia and a 25 yard screamer provided South’s others, making Lewis Reid’s goal for Cotts little compensation.

Eckington remain third after their emphatic 5-0 home win over New Bohemians. A good start for Eckington saw them take the lead in the 18th minute when a looping cross rebounded off Owen Ryan and rolled into the goal. It was soon doubled when Ryan was tripped in the box and Tom Gambles put away the penalty. Eckington continued to dominate in the second half and increased their lead when Ryan Hannon slotted home from close range after being put through one on one. The fourth came when a good cross into the box was headed home by Daniel Biggin and the last came when Harry Bell’s shot flew in off the post.

14 NOV – DIVISION 2 – Lion and Jubilee keep the pressure up on the top two – In Division Two Red Lion, with a 3-2 victory at Renegade, and Jubilee Rangers, with a 4-1 home win over Water Tower, both closed up on second place Mosborough Reds, but Beighton Magpies lost ground after drawing 1-1 at Sheaf House. Jamie and Matt Lindsay goals for Renegade were beaten by three set piece goals by Mike Parker, Jack Joyce and Dan Beech, but Lion needed a last gasp clearance off the line to keep their lead.

Jubilee Rangers went ahead through Josh Jackson, but Jacob Rickards had Water Tower level at the break. Water Tower probably knew it wouldn’t be their day when two own goals put Jubilee in charge before Alfie Smith added their fourth.

Beighton Magpies took the lead in the first half with a Kier Storey strike, but the second half saw Sheaf push them back and their pressure saw them win a penalty, only to see it saved by Beighton keeper Jack Thorpe. Sheaf kept pushing though and just five minutes from time Henry Bradshaw equalised to set up a tense finish.

7 NOV – LEAGUE TWENTYTWO CUP – No shocks, but Whitehill and Sixs go through – There was no shocks in Round 3 of the League Twentytwo Cup with only two non-CBC Premier sides going through to the Quarter Finals. One of them is Brinsworth Whitehill, who beat fellow Division Two side Jubilee Rangers 3-2 thanks to an Ainsley Finney (pictured right) winner. Jubilee started better and took a half-time lead through Adam Darton and a couple of good saves from Cory Goodwin and Finney efforts. Brinsworth stepped it up a gear in the second half and equalised when full back Jack Armstrong’s shot was parried onto the crossbar by the Jubilee keeper but Drew Houghton was there to tap home the rebound.

Brinsworth was temporarily reduced to 10 men when Ross Johnson was given a sin-Bin and Jubilee capitalised to take the lead again through Josh Jackson. Brinsworth levelled a second time when Finney teed up Joe McGuinness to find the bottom corner from 25 yards and with 10 minutes left Finney charged down the Jubilee keeper and cheekily pinched the ball off him to tap home into the empty net.

The only other side outside the CBC Premier to win was Division One Sheffield Sixs, who beat Division Two Renegade Football 3-0. Sixs commanded from start to finish and took the lead when George Utley hammered home a rebound after 15 minutes and soon after Josh Allison made it two. Harry Buxton (pictured left) completed the scoring just after half time.

Crookes beat fellow CBC Premier Civil Sports 2-1 with two John Brelsford strikes beating one from Jordan Turner, and the other all-CBC Premier game saw Handsworth Everest Inn win 4-1 at Oughtibridge WM. Oughtibridge scored first when Charlie Cope finished well from a corner, but Everest levelled when Liam Greenfield was tripped in the box and Perry Jackson scored from the spot and they went in front before the break when Ryan Goodinson’s weak effort found its way past the keeper. The second half saw both Jackson and Goodinson add their second and Jackson missed a terrific chance for a hat-trick when he blazed a second penalty over the bar.

Royal Earl beat Division Two Water Tower 4-0 in a fast and frantic game. Chay Kingswood’s goal was the pick of the bunch, along with others from Matt Morton, Sam Smith and a bullet header from a corner by man of the match Michael Towey. There was a major downside for Earl though with Reece Cahill suffering a broken leg. Norton Sportsman also put out a Division Two side, Red Lion, 2-1, but it was Lion that struck first through Sam Roden early in the second half. A slice of luck put Sportsman back into it when a defender turned Luke Francis’s cross into his own net, but there was nothing lucky about the winner when Antony Holmes put Callum Mawby through to finish in the corner.

Joker Wickersley Youth also beat a Division Two side 4-3 in a real thriller at Chapeltown RBL. Almost went ahead when Parirs Dixon hit the post, but when RBL had the chance they didn’t miss. Morgan Cowell put the in-form Denham Saxton through and he confidently finished. Joker levelled when Dixon received an Adam Daughtrey through ball and found the bottom corner. Joker then went in front when Tom Duty brought Joe Austin down in the area and Ben Thornton thumped home the penalty. They doubled their lead when Dixon collected Alex Elwell’s pass before finding the bottom corner from just outside the area.

RBL hit back soon after the break when Harley Wilson was felled in the area and he picked himself up to send the keeper the wrong way from the spot, and they levelled when Wilson took a pass from Saxton before hitting a thunderbolt past the keeper. Extra time looked likely, but five minutes from time Daughtrey and Austin combined on the left wing, before Austin crossed for Liam O’Brien (pictured right) to score from close range.

The delayed Round Two game saw New Bohemians win 2-1 at fellow Division One side Brinsworth Phoenix. After a goalless first half, it was Phoenix that struck first when John Mellor gave the ball to Logan Pearce and he lobbed the keeper from 35 yards, but Bohemians levelled when Matt Beck’s shot bobbled through the keeper’s hands. It could have gone either way after that, but it was Bohemians that went through after Jono Cooper curled a shot into the top corner. They will now travel to WB Pheasant for a place in the quarter final on a date to be arranged.

7 NOV – CBC PREMIER – Stannington just pip Oaks – In the day’s only CBC Premier game bottom club Norton Oaks made a real game of it before falling to a narrow 2-1 home defeat by title chasing Stannington Village. The nearest to a goal in the first half was Jack Haslam’s effort that struck the Oak’s bar, but Stannington scored soon after the break when a deflection in the box fell kindly for Shaun Flynn to tap into an empty net. Their lead was doubled with an unfortunate own goal, but Oaks didn’t give up and Michael Peake smashed one against the bar, before later combining with Mike Nuttall to round the keeper and slot it calmly home.

7 NOV – DIVISION 1 – Brad blasts Intake – Brad Smith (pictured left) scored five as Sheffield South comfortably beat Intake Old Boys 10-0 to go second in Division One. South’s others coming from Tom Charlesworth, Alex Masterson, Tom Davis 2 and Ed Brown.

What allowed South to move up was a surprise 7-2 defeat for Eckington at Southey Social. The game saw possibly the fastest goal on record as straight from the kick off Kieron Hopkinson saw the keeper off his line and scored. Two goals from Jarrod Lomas & Elliot Fox made it four by half time and although Eckington pulled one back early in the second half Fox and Junior Wheeler strikes kept Southey in command. Eckington pulled a second back, but Todd Guest had the final say with Southey’s seventh

That defeat dropped Eckington to third and just a point behind them is Cotts after their narrow 3-2 victory over Colley. Chris Salt put Cotts ahead with a penalty, only for Chris Onjia to level. Salt put Cotts back in front, but Colley hit back again through Chris Parkes. Colley looked likely winners until a cruel bounce hit the keeper in the face and left Lewis Reid the simple task of scoring what turned out to be the winner.

7 NOV – DIVISION 2 – Reds close up on the leaders and Magpies fly up to third – In Division Two, Mosborough Reds are just a point behind the leaders after a narrow 3-2 win over Sheaf Sports. Sheaf House struck first with an Adam Wragg penalty and although Mosborough briefly levelled through Jak Hotchin, a Richard Guyo strike had Sheaf back in front by the interval. Soon after the break though Mosborough were back on level terms when Luke Fogg put Matt Ellis in to score and it was Ellis again that headed the winner.

Beighton Magpies climbed to third after a 3-1 victory over Shakey. Dale Featherstone (pictured right) opening the scoring for Beighton with a calm finish, but soon after a nasty clash of heads led to a player from each side going to hospital for treatment. After a lengthy delay, the match restarted and just before half time Harry Bolsover netted to double Beightons lead. The second half saw Jamie Rogers pull one back for Shakey after they were awarded a penalty, but with Shakey throwing everything at Beighton for an equaliser, they were caught out by a swift counter attack and Featherstone scored his second with the final kick of the game.
